Imran (green), hopes to start the practice in January

Male', MALDIVES - Victory and national team’s ‘out of action’ keeper Imran Mohamed left India for a final check up on his long running injury. Imran had a ligament surgery in India and was doing physiotherapy in Male’ before his departure yesterday.

Imran, who was injured during an AFC Cup game this year, expects a return to action in January and his visit to India is to get a final confirmation before wearing the jersey.

“This is (trip to India) just to have a second check up. If not I will have to be sidelined for a longer period if injured again after start playing. So I can make a final decision once I get the advice from the doctor” He said.

Imran is expected to return on 23rd of this month and meanwhile the promising keeper revealed his disappointment over the reaction from FAM while he was injured. He believes the football governing body didn’t give a ‘damn’ on his injury and that proved his commitment to the national team has not been to any value to the authority. FAM didn’t respond to Imran’s comments yet.

yeah... FAM didn't give a 'DAMN' about him but helped some players that FAM wanted to help eventhough those players were also injured while playing for their clubs...but still FAM should know that IMRAN is the BEST goalkeeper ever born in Maldives...
